Mechanical dust collector (MDC ) MDC is a arrangement of multi cyclone where in dust laden gas enters into the multi cyclone chamber, the centrifugal force that develops due to cyclonic action makes the dust particles move radially outward and gain weight sticking with others and drop out of gas stream through the air lock. The clean gas then flows out through the exit tube. Bag Filter Bag Filter is an arrangement of filtration material in the form of bags. When dust laden flue gas passes through the fabric bag the dust is retained while clean air passer through. This dust deposited on outer surface of the bags is removed by high pressure compressed air. Wet Bottom Cum Scrubber : Wet Bottom is a arrangement of water tank with baffles in which dust laden flue gas passes touching the water body. The fine dust settles in the water and pure gas escapes through outlet. The baffles are provided such a way the flue gas strikes the water body perpendicularly so that maximum dust is collected.The collected dust is drained through a gate valve once in a shift. Jet of water is sprayed on the counter flow direction of the gas for enhanced collection.
